There’s still that feeling that PSG are licking their wounds and just trying to play catch up by grinding out results week in and week out. They are maintaining a good balance and doing well in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
The French champions haven’t lost a game for six weeks now and have gone on a 4 game unbeaten run. Despite some dropped points in Paris with two draws from five home games played they are still unbeaten.
Rennes comes into this game in great form also unbeaten in their last 4 games and in 5th place on 20 points. A win here would be a shock but would also see them join PSG on the same points.
However, Rennes’ poor away form and whilst they did beat Nantes in their last away fixture they have also lost 3 of their last five matches on the road.
